Malmi Maps is a communal visual art project made in collaborations by Reflektor and Malmi elementary school. A total of 46 students participated in the project by creating works using techniques of their choice to be projected onto the facade of the post office in Malmi. The goals of the project were to transform the urban space with art and to increase cultural participation of local residents. Furthermore, the projects aimed at creating memories for future light and video artists, and to promote the general awareness of the art form.
