Human voice and natural materials are the core content of the sound installation Minä olen kivi, minä olen puu (translation: I am a rock, I am a tree). The work gives a voice and identity to the trees and rocks of the forest, while granting the viewer with the opportunity to identify with the natural surroundings.

Antti Puumalainen (b. 1979), a Tampere based freelance Sound Designer, is versatile and ambitious performing arts professional. Puumalainen has acquired his wide-ranging skill and knowledge through both education and practical work as a sound designer, theatremaker, and artist.
