Malmi Maps is a communal visual art project between Reflektor and the 5th graders of Malmi elementary school and Hietakumpu elementary school. A total of 64 students participated in the project by creating their works using techniques of their choice to be projected onto the facade of the post office in Malmi.
The goals of the project were to change the urban space with the help of art and to increase the cultural participation of the residents, to create memories for future light and video artists, and to promote the general awareness of the art form.
