Ghost Project Synthetic Sunset, 2021

The new videowork of the art collective is an ensemble of iconic sunsets. The installation, as seen through venetian blinds and a candied filter, plays with the subject of natural versus artificial. The modern man keeps on seeking instant gratification by saturating the digital environment with image correcting filters. Do we still know how natural phenomenons should really look like?
