Heureka bridge (Matti Ollila, Heikkinen-Komonen Architects, 1989)

The Heureka bridge has been equipped with new lighting technology. During the Reflektor Vantaa event the lighting celebrates the bridge’s constructivist architecture as a work of art in which the colours and movement of light highlight the structural elements of the bridge. The colours of light are strong and contrasting. The movement of the light reflects the mechanical rhythm of a machine. The work is a collaboration with Ramboll Valostudio and City of Vantaa.
