Grandlund Creative Design Eksergia/Anergia, 2024

The theme of the interactive work by the Granlund Creative Design collective is different forms of energy. Together with the person participating in the work, the different elements of energy are seen: wind, water and fire. Energy is always around us, renewing itself and changing its form – but what does it look like: sunshine, burning fire, a waterfall or a gust of wind? Or the flicker of a hand or a cartwheel? Exergy/Anergy changes and lives with the energy transmitted by people. The interplay of people, light and colour creates a new, sparkling energy in the darkness of autumn.

The names Eksergy and Anergy are Greek. Exergy is the part of energy that can work and anergy is the part of energy that cannot work.
The work was designed by Tanja Silvennoinen, Jussi Kamunen and Harri Kuittinen (sound design) from Granlund’s Creative Design Department (GCD).
