Taito Otani (JPN) Cognition Space Recognition, 2024, 2025, 2026

Cognition Space Recognition visualizes the dynamic relationship between object and data. The Cube, with its continuously re-appearing, changing and moving gets abstracted into data right in front of our eyes. Cognition Space Recognition draws inspiration from the aesthetic realms of Space, technology and sci-fi. Perspective and meaning gets blurred as object and data blur their lines, emerging into each other.  Cognition Space Recognition premiered at Reflektor Vantaa -festival in 2024.

Taito Otani is a sound artist based in Tokyo. In addition he works with installations, video art, music, as well as visual art and design. Otani’s interactive and immersive works channel the human experience, enhancing and expanding them through technology.
