Veera-Maija Murtola Analogue Projections: Colour (in) Space, 2026

The prerequisite for seeing colour is light.

The widest possible room is space.

Perhaps infinitely, light travels through it.

The work takes a playful approach to the concepts and experiences of colour theory, colour perception, and spatiality.

Analogue Projections is an ongoing series of works at Reflektor since 2021, in which various artists create temporary projection pieces in unexpected locations. The projections are created using overhead projectors. Three new works from the series will premiere at the Reflektor Sotkamo 2026 festival.
